The momentum around Open Gateway and network APIs continues to build – and Sekura.id is proud to be at the heart of it. Trusted digital identity and fraud prevention services can only scale when operators, technology partners, and enterprises work together, and that collaboration has taken an important step forward.
Aduna, the global aggregator of standardised network APIs, has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sekura.id, now part of XConnect. This agreement brings together Aduna’s aggregation platform, XConnect’s numbering intelligence, and Sekura.id’s mobile identity expertise to accelerate the adoption of CAMARA-compliant APIs such as Number Verification (NV), SIM Swap (SS) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
The partnership will not only enable enterprises and operators to scale secure services faster but also lay the foundation for new APIs that address emerging digital identity, authentication, and fraud prevention needs.

Through this collaboration, Aduna’s single aggregation layer simplifies enterprise access to standardised APIs, reducing complexity and speeding time-to-market. Sekura.id contributes deep experience in API onboarding and in-life enablement, while XConnect brings global numbering intelligence covering more than 240 territories. Together, the companies will create a ready-made route for banks, fintechs, e-commerce platforms and digital merchants to adopt mobile identity and fraud prevention services.
Anthony Bartolo, CEO of Aduna, says:
“Number Verification, SIM Swap and Know Your Customer APIs are essential to protecting consumers and enterprises from fraud. By working with Sekura.id and XConnect, we can accelerate operator onboarding and scale trusted identity services worldwide.”
Eli Katz, CEO and Founder of XConnect, added:
“This unique partnership with Aduna allows operators to commercialise APIs faster than ever before by giving enterprises a simple, reliable way to reduce fraud while complying with increasing regulation and compliance challenges. Together, we are building a global foundation for secure identity services; combined with our number information services, this will enable customers to enhance their authentication portfolio and stay ahead in the evolving identity and validation space. Restoring trust in transactions is core to who we are, and this exciting collaboration only strengthens that mission.”
