Job Description
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Sales Support Executive will be a key contributor to the maintenance of strong customer relations and the smooth running of sales team operations. You will assist with driving and increasing sales, customer satisfaction and reporting. Our ideal candidate will have a knowledge of sales and customer service best-practices and be expected to assist with troubleshooting, account status and customer enquiries.
You will be joining a small team of experienced sales professionals and provide administrative support, which will include the maintenance of the CRM and ordering systems and managing customer meetings, as well as responding to Customer and Prospect queries. In addition, there may be some involvement supporting marketing activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing and updating entries to the CRM and assistance with the cleansing and reporting functions of the database (Hubspot)
- Managing and updating entries to the ordering system (NetSuite) and assistance with the creation of new accounts and reporting
- Liaison with the sales team to ensure correct sales process and documentation
- Assisting with tracking and reporting functions of the CRM
- Be a point of presence for customers and prospects when the relevant account manager is unavailable
- Organise customer and prospect meetings and engagements
- Follow-up and chase for completion of action points
- Provide assistance to the Senior Management Team for information/report gathering and compilation
- Collaborate and work alongside other departments managing cross-department requests
Reporting
- This role reports to the Commercial Director
- Assist with the generation of regular reporting against Sales Pipeline, Prospect List/Addressable Market, Account Development Plans, key milestones and increased revenue/profit (and other metrics used within XConnect) from activities.
Experience/Knowledge required
- Minimum 2 year’s administrative support experience ideally within a hi-tech environment (telecoms experience a definite advantage)
- Experience working in a company with commitment to a metric-driven, quantitative sales process with demonstrable results
- Experienced at working from home independently with remote support

Location and Hours
- Work from home role within UK working hours (although there may be times when we expect you to provide support outside of UK working hours)
- Attendance at monthly sales meetings at the Company Headquarters (London, N3)
- Possible international travel on occasions
