VP Strategic Accounts

Location: New York or Home Office (USA)

Job Purpose: The VP of Strategic Accounts will drive growth and adaptation of our client's award winning interconnection solutions and services into the Telecommunications market. We seek an impact player who can leverage his or her knowledge and experience to sell our products and services to strategic partners in the unified communications space.

Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys being in the field with customers.
• Detailed knowledge of competitive landscape
• Experience in consultative selling and solution development in the service provider and large enterprise environment is also desirable .
• The successful candidate should have a strong background in Voice and Data networking, IP Telephony and Unified Communications.
• Experience in negotiating complex contracts is also required.
• A BA/BS/MS or equivalent experience is required, MBA desirable.
• The position may entail extensive travel
• Extensive knowledge of UC (unified communications) and convergence market is required.
• Detailed knowledge of the following UC accounts would be a distinct advantage (Cisco / Microsoft / IBM and Avaya.
• Experience and strong knowledge of the Registry/ENUM Directory space, and how it applies to the voice and NGN.
• 10 years + in high tech solutions sales
• Strong technical background
• Experience in driving major business and P+L experience is highly desirable
