XCONNECT GEARS UP FOR PEERING WITH TWO SENIOR APPOINTMENTS

London, UK — July 9, 2008 — XConnect, the leader in VoIP and NGN federation-based interconnection, today announced the appointments of Ms. Tania Platt as VP, Global Sales, and Mr. John Wilkinson as VP, Federations.

Tania Platt joins XConnect from IDT, where she served as Senior Vice President for Europe. In this role, Tania built a successful European team and produced record-breaking results, managing business in Western Europe, as well the quickly deregulating Eastern European markets. Prior to IDT, Tania spent 12 years with Cable & Wireless in numerous capacities, including Sales Director of their International Wholesale division.

John Wilkinson was previously Director of Voice Services at Interoute and has over 10 years experience in the voice industry. At Interoute, John was responsible for developing Arena, the International Voice Interconnect and Peering platform which provides interconnection to operators on a Pan-European basis. Prior to joining Interoute John was head of product management for Energis Carrier Services, Swisscom, AT&T and KPN.
