Xavi Casajoana
Founder,
Spanish ITSP, VozTelecom
Xavi founded VozTelecom, an innovative VoIP start-up in February
2003, achieving venture capital and first product into the market.
VozTelecom was the first European commercial SIP network available
for communication application hosting, and providing IP telephony
services into the SoHo and SME Spanish market, through IP Broadband
access networks.
Before founding VozTelecom, Xavi spent more than 10 years managing
IT departments in public and privately held firms, most recently
as CEO/Country Manager for Tiscali Spain. Prior to this he was CTO
for World Online, Spain and has considerable depth of knowledge
in software development and business processes across the Internet
and telecoms industry.
Xavi graduated in Computer Science from Polytechnic University in
Catalonia (UPC-Spain), and later gained a Masters in Business and
Technology from La Salle University (Spain). He also holds a degree
in Business Administration and Information Systems from Pompeu Fabra
University (Spain). |
