David Schwartz

Mr. Schwartz joined XConnect as CTO in June 2007, after spending five years as CTO and co-founder of Kayote Networks, a leading VoIP company with the objective of providing companies with expertise in SIP and other VoIP protocols. While at Kayote, Mr. Schwartz worked as a close strategic partner to XConnect and was instrumental in architecting the XConnect Network. Prior to Kayote Networks, Mr. Schwartz served as the Director of Telephony Research at Deltathree, Inc. Prior to Deltathree, Mr. Schwartz served as a VP in the Information Technology group at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. (NYSE:BSC) where he was responsible for the development of a three-tier mortgage allocation system. He joined Bear Stearns after serving as a senior Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics where he was responsible for the design and implementation of a VLSI editor and database for an interactive, channel-based routing system.  Mr. Schwartz holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, with a focus in Communication Systems.
